We invite you to join us on May 20, 2008 at the traditional ZZ NES RUN, which will this year be dedicated to support of Maribor candidature for the organisation of the Winter Universiade 2013. There is no starting fee; the run will take place in any weather condition.

This year's ZZ NES RUN, the 12th in a row, is focused on candidature of Maribor to host the Winter universiade in 2013. The decision on attribution will be on May 31 in Brussels, and Maribor, along with partner municipalities, is the sole candidate this year. The purpose of the run is mainly socialising and reviving the old city core.

We expect you from 2PM onwards at the Grajski trg, where entertainment programme will take place. The run itself will start at 6 PM. Also top Slovenian athletes, polititians and media stars will participate in the run. The course is 3.5 kilometres long and is as such appropriate for all leisure runners.

We warmly welcome you to join as at the Grajski trg in Maribor, and express your support for the Winter Universiade 2013 in Maribor with your presence.
